The kitchen, positioned across from the living room, is a modern and sleek fit, equipped with all the amenities you may need with the aforementioned large living-dining room being a perfect area to relax in after a long day in the mountains with its south facing full length windows giving you beautiful views across to Grisedale Pike.
The property contains 3 bedrooms in total; 2 king size and 1 twin. The master King is equipped with its own wet-room style (disabled accessible) En-suite shower room. There is also a separate family use shower room across the hallway for other guests to use.
14 Crosthwaite Gardens hides conveniently away from the bustling town centre yet still remains close enough to enjoy a short walk there if you wish to visit some of Keswick’s main attractions, such as its wide variety of shops, the world-famous pencil museum, the theatre by the lake or one of the towns many traditional and modern pubs or restaurants.
If you prefer the quieter side of things, 14 Crosthwaite Gardens is just a 10-minute walk from Fitz Park, perfect for a stroll.
⁃ A 15-minute walk from Hope Park and the theatre by the lake, where you can enjoy a game of crazy golf or simply walk the gardens.
⁃ A 20-minute walk from Derwentwater, where you can hire a rowing boat for a day on the lake or simply sit and appreciate the stunning views at the heart of the Lake District.
Positioned perfectly, you won’t even need to get in the car to enjoy some of the Lake Districts most picture-perfect walks as the old railway line with its numerous bridges sits close by, from which you can take an ancient path onto Latrig or even Skiddaw, standing on the shoulders of giants for astounding views of the entire Newlands Valley.
If long walks aren’t for you, perhaps you’d enjoy a more relaxed wander with the neighbouring village of Portinscale being just a 10-minute walk over the suspension bridge from 14 Crosthwaite Gardens, there you can enjoy homemade cuisine from the Chalet tea rooms or the Lingholm Estate, or explore another side of Derwentwater at the marina.
